Arthur Carter created the idea for this ingenious trick.
A prediction is placed in full view of the audience before the experiment begins. Six cards are laid out in a horizontal row on the table and a spectator freely selects any number from one to six (if you wish, the number can be chosen at random by rolling an invisible die). The selected number is used to arrive at one of the cards on the table. Your written prediction proves to be 100% correct!
This is very simple, straightforward and direct. No false counts, no spelling and absolutely no sleight of hand of any kind required.
